KappaBridge AC Susceptibility Bridge
You can find a more detailed description in
IRM Quarterly v. 4, n. 2, Summer 1994.
The KappaBridge allows mineral identification through Curie-point determinations, and characterization of rock fabric through precise measurement of the anisotropy of low-field susceptibility.
- Temperature range: 300 K to 975 K
- AC Field: 300 A/m RMS
- Frequency: 920 Hz
- Sensitivity: 4E-8 SI
- Measurement time: approximately 2 hours for temperature sweep, 5 minutes for room-temperature AMS determination.
